Urban Climb will be operating under our Covid Safe Plan upon reopening. This plan has been developed following the guidelines of the Australian Department of Health, with additional safety and cleaning procedures included to ensure Urban Climb remains safe, healthy and virus free for all staff, and members.

Day divided into sessions with cleaning throughout

All Urban Climb facilities will follow this climbing session and cleaning schedule 7days a week.

We will be limiting climbers to one gym per day; and two sessions per week

We will be following all required social distancing measures and venue capacity requirements

  • Capacity Restrictions (20 patrons)
  • Floor Markings of 1.5m
  • Gym Sectors for climbing (Climb Stations)
  • Remove all communal Seating

Our venues will have a 20 person capacity

Members will be required to book into sessions to use the gym. Registration of members attending each session will be recorded.

Social Distancing measures will be clear for all that attend the venues.

  • Tape markings at entry and outside the venue
  • Floor Markings for Queueing
  • No customer congregating and clear zoning
  • Manage waiting areas – clear entry and exit procedure and pathway for each venue.

Visit session will be limited to 90 minute sessions with 30 minute cleaning intervals between climbing sessions.

Our gyms will be operating as cashless / contactless payment

  • Card payment only

There will be a limit / closure on all communal shared areas

  • No Water fountains
  • No showers
  • No change rooms
  • No communal cutlery, plates or cups
  • No brushing holds

Hygiene practises are required to be followed by both staff and members attending the facilities.

  • Liquid chalk only
  • Alcohol based hand sanitiser upon entry and exit
  • Detergent based surface cleaners and sprays used to clean all surfaces
  • Staff will follow a Covid Cleaning Plan developed specifically for each venue

There will be less routes on the walls and a higher rotation of resets to ensure social distancing measures and hygiene practices are being carried out to the highest standard.

 

  • All gyms (Qld and Vic) will be on a 3 week rotation.
  • The gym is running at a 75% climb density

Paper towels will be provided for hand drying and wiping surfaces. These will then
be disposed in the provided bins that will regularly be changed.

Cleaning equipment for surface cleaning will be provided in all communal areas of
the gym. Staff will be conducting regular cleaning of these areas as part of gym specific cleaning schedules.

Sanitiser will be provided in all communal areas. All members and staff will be
required to sanitise on entry and exit.

Hand soap will be provided in all bathrooms, along with towel for drying hands.
It is recommended you wash your hands upon entry and exit of the facilities.

Our staff will be wearing masks when on shift. It is not a requirement of members
to wear masks however we highly recommend it.
