Urban Climb’s Lab has a number of fitness classes on offer to keep you motivated:
Saturday Morning Class
The saturday morning class is like a vacuum packed meal of a fitness class squeezed into an hour. With weights, and cardio carefully blended to produce maximum results, this class is ideal for people who don’t have much time and want to get fit fast. Suited to beginners and athletes alike, the class runs on a time per exercise format meaning, you simply work as hard as you can for the time allowed.
Perfect for parents of the Children’s climbing course ‘Geckos’ that runs at the same time on a Saturday morning. Train for an hour and then go and relax in West End’s markets before picking up the Children.
The class has a strong social side with many people attending all year round. At just $18.00 per session it’s great value too! enquiries@the-lab.com.au to join.
Saturday Mornings – 8am to 9am – Level = Mixed
ATS Fitness – Wednesday Nights
A fitness class for climbers designed by Exercise Physiologists and Climbers. With the demands of climbing in mind, this course is designed to improve fitness and strength for climbing. If you feel your climbing is suffering because of a lack of conditioning, this is ideal. One hour of strength based exercises, utilising the climbing training area and boulder.
Wednesday Evenings 7pm to 8pm – Level = Intermediate to Advanced
Lunchtime fitness
If you work in the area or find yourself at home during the week with a need for an energy boost this class is ideal. With a variety of training types all integrated into an express 45minutes. Suitable to be squeezed into a lunch break with time for a change and a shower. You won’t get bored with this varied mix of cardio and weights and you will feel your body buzz through the afternoon as a result. Perfect pick me up.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 1215 to 1pm – Level = Beginner to Intermediate.
